State-Of-The-Art Cleaning. Superior Speed.
A DAETWYLER/RENZMANN SUCCESS STORY.
THE CLIENT:
Cellpack Packaging’s German location manufactures flexible packaging solutions and different kinds of bags made from monofilms and multilayer films. The company also operates flexographic and gravure printing presses to customize the packaging they create.
The production facility runs three Schiavi gravure presses, laminators, slitters, and other printing components.
THE NEED:
When Cellpack was going through a 7.5 million-euro modernization of its plant in Lauterecken, Germany, an in-house washing facility was a central focus of the project.
Equipment at Cellpack runs 24 hours a day, in three shifts, five days a week, and any cleaning machinery needed to be able to stand up to that kind of production.
Cleaning components also had to be able to perform at ATEX-specified levels or better, all without damaging or reducing the life of print and packaging equipment.
THE ANSWER:
Four Weeks to a High-Performance Cleaning Program
Installed over a quick four-week time period, Cellpack’s wash room is now equipped with five Renzmann units – a parts washing machine, a manual washing machine for extremely small parts or for soaking heavily soiled parts, a pump washing station that can clean up to four pumps simultaneously, a cylinder washing machine, and a ROTOmaX automatic solvent recovery unit with a 4000-liter capacity.
A FIVE-STAR CLEANING UPGRADE... MADE POSSIBLE IN JUST 4 WEEKS.
CONCLUSION:
Even after multiple years of continuous use, Cellpack’s Renzmann units were performing just as well as day 1. Since the installation of the new equipment, the company reports that cleaning results have improved and washing times have been greatly reduced.
The recovery of used solvent has also lowered overall costs for the company, allowing it to stay competitive with other companies in their market. However, it is the excellent construction of Renzmann products that allowed for such rapid installation.
Machines are fully constructed to exacting standards in Renzmann’s own facility and simply delivered and set up at the intended operation site. Because the equipment itself is so solidly built, the only time necessary to make equipment usable is in necessary hookups to exhaust, power, water lines, and solvent tanks.
In this case, Cellpack experienced:
- Durable, long-lasting equipment
- Highly efficient solvent recovery options
- Eliminated surrogate oil
