Congressman Robert Pittenger, District 9 Representative for the State of North Carolina visited Max Daetwyler Corporation’s US Headquarters in Huntersville today.
Mr. Pittenger met with Ralph Daetwyler, President of Max Daetwyler Corporation and toured the office and manufacturing facility where he was introduced to Daetwyler’s diverse product offering.
“It was a pleasure to have Congressman Robert Pittenger visit our facility today,” said Ralph Daetwyler, President of Daetwyler USA. “We introduced him to Daetwyler’s diverse group of companies and our workforce development program. We discussed how workforce development is currently one of the single largest concerns that we and other local manufacturers face now and in the future. Mr. Pittenger was shown how our apprenticeship program helps alleviate this gap by offering young men and women the opportunity for a well-paying career and a college degree, all paid for by the company. He agreed that the economic recovery we are in won’t be much of a recovery if we don’t have the skilled people to meet the growing demands. We went on a tour of Daetwyler’s office and manufacturing facility where he saw first-hand the precision manufacturing Daetwyler is known for. I appreciate the time he was able to take out of his busy schedule to visit us and would welcome him back at any time.”
